The project
A comprehensive digital solution enabling transparent, data-driven citizen participation in climate neutrality planning for Sarajevo's Net Zero Mission 2030.
Developed under the EU's 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities initiative, the platform bridges civic ideas with municipal climate action plans.
Objective
The Citizen Assembly Platform was developed to:
- •Facilitate deliberative democracy and civic consensus on municipal climate policies
- •Gather, categorize, and prioritize grassroots emissions-reduction proposals
- •Provide transparent tracking of municipal legislative follow-through
- •Foster civic education on clean energy, transport, and air quality initiatives
